POEM:: Lucid american dreaming

here's a poem i wrote last night..
still have some space in the collection
coming out in the fall..:::

Lucid American Dreaming

in the end we get the beginning,
of the result of our inactions.
the wave on the beach of oily
treason, murder, sexual debauchery.
if only it were tv..
this is the u.s.s.a reality..
300 hundred million separate bubbles.

no matter your fervor,
he is our president.
when you travel you have
to answer, 'what did you do during
the war." and "why didn't you stop him"
we just marched produced songs about it
art, installations, performances, and yes poems.

the freaks never have had any power,
over any of the wars.
fleeting minutes of e-fame and it's over..
indie pop stars don't a full sky make..

there are some bright stars with the reins now.
know the slant of the past, corruption doesn't scare them..
they are born into globality, the seed isn't deeply buried..
in an instant the truth can be absorbed by us all..

it's epic, dramatic, we living in legend days.
purify the treachery out of the u.s.s.a.
the shock is that things are as they seem.
let's have a collective american a lucid dream.

Starry Eyed for august 27 thru Sept 2nd

Mon Aug 27- Sun Sept 02

MoonWeek Aquarius thru Taurus

Eeeeeeclipse baby! It's a total Lunar one this time, followed two weeks hence by a Solar. A fortnight of action that will dictate how you evolve or don't over the next full cycle. You can run but who can hide from the moon? It's best for all if you find her in you before she comes a callin'. If you don't look for reality it will come lookin' for you.

Monday we have the full moon sizzle down to each cell of our bodies as it's building, she's full as the left coast of America sleeps. If you want to view the eclipse you should be flat on your back staring at her starting at 2AM PST. Below is a time calculator you can use to see what time it is for you. When the moon slips into Pisces at 7:34pm it's on. We're 'within orb' as they say, that means it's palatable to say the least. Like all process that build up and explode, volcanoes, orgasms, roller coasters and tides it's most powerful just before. So give and take a break on Monday, think about what you have been going through and tie up whatever loose ends you can. Unacknowledged danglers can explode spontaneously, so give some care to emotional crevices.

Tuesday the moon is full at 3:35am PST. This is Pisces-Virgo, the psychic efficiency expert. We can and will examine at lightening speeds the fleeting nature of our thoughts and feelings. All of the drama and trauma of the season can be put in perspective and the window is open to instant healing and resolution. We enter a two-week 'lunar cocoon'. Eclipses come in pairs, this time Lunar then Solar on the 11th of Sept, yeah I know we'll get to that next week. What we do and don't do inside this fortnight sets the tone internally and externally for the next full cycle, almost a year. So those that really step up into it will reap the benefits of awareness and forgiveness, make space in the mind/soul/body for fresh lessons and can even cut the tethers to what seem eternal issues that keep playing out in our lives. Yeah we all have issues, like 'ish you or issue not my baby'. At any time we can see their root and pull them up out of our mental and emotional gardens. The only thing holding you back is you.

Wednesday the moon goes VOID-of-COURSE. This is when she has no aspects left for the sign she's traveling through, time for the chord to resonate and for us to absorb every note that makes it up. Every aspect of this waning eclipsed moon is magnified, it's also a great time to feel her rhythm so that it becomes more organic in you, more natural. The effect is there but it's up to the receiver to tune into the affect.

Thursday the moon moves into Aries and the burst of energy is going to feel welcome, we feel like we can actually DO something with all of this. In the theme of the waning moon it's advantageous to channel the Aries furnace to tackle the ignored closets, junk drawers and hard drives of our lives. Rather then dissipating with no affect we can use it to get these short tasks taken care of. It's easy to stare at the pile of boxes as insurmountable but it really is just a short flurry that cleans them up then you stand back wondering why you waited so long. Well we know why, it's easier to talk issues and clutter than it is to move them around and actually reach out and touch them.

Friday the torch of Aries is still under our butts, you have to do something with this energy or it will course through you creating arguments, unfinished projects and general mayhem. We're going to wake up tomorrow with a Moon in Taurus and a general big view gaze over the fields of our existence. You don't want a bunch of half done projects staring you in the face. Of course we can't 'finish' everything, but if you look at it, realize it's not going to get any more 'done' and dispatch it consciously it's not going to have that baggage gravity to pull on you.

Saturday the moon is in confident and content Taurus. Look back over the week and just see the peaks and valleys for what they are; a single connected landscape. This vision of the bull is helpful to be satisfied with your lot, to forgive and realize it's all been you, the world doesn't force us to do anything we could just lay down and stop drinking and eating at any time. We are volunteers for the life. It's more a playground then a prison, go ride the swings!

Sunday is the shift all you 'Saturn returnees' have been waiting for; Saturn leaves Leo and moves into Virgo. Since July of '05 it's been a surprise quiz/inspection on reality as you know it. For us that don't have Saturn in Leo (those that do are 29ish, 58ish or 87ish) it's been an aligning of what is truly in our heart with physical reality. The ego can have high ideals about the status of the heart but the reality is sometimes harshly different. So the lessons and tunings of Saturn are never described as gentle. All systems of astrology from east to west that disagree about so much agree on this, Saturn trumps all.

As with all outer planet changes it takes awhile to settle in so it's a great opportunity to use the Taurus Moon's objective vision to see where Saturn has left its mark on you and yours the last 2+ years.

Mercury and Pluto square to make this a 'messages of war' passage for the next few days. With our intimates and our circle of acquaintances we can either build bridges of trust with an exchange or begin a feud in a single word and pinched eyebrow.

Inside this eclipse window it's all magnified, the lessons of Saturn are bearing fruit. When pruning you may feel the pain of the snips but you can have the sense also to see that the vine is healthier and the pain makes way for the fruits to come.

Starry Eyed for August 20-26 '07

We are moving towards a full moon, it will be early next week and it's an eclipse too so it's like a turbo charged waxing moon. It's the pulse of all inertia, everthing that's moving, including the mind and heart channels. All life responds to the moon, that includes yours. You may pay it no mind but it even pulls on the inner tides of the water bags we walk around in, including the bubble of goo on our shoulders. The brain is also an electromagnet field, lunar influence on the brain/mind is more science then fantasy. The Sun leaves Leo and moves into Virgo this week and it's the call that the season is over and the arc of the Sun is undeniable. All loose ends will be tied up and dealt with, it's up to us whether we have any say in the matter. Live with reality or reality comes to live with you.

Monday is the transition day, we start in Scorpio and the in the evening the Sagittarius moon kicks in, a sense of direction an a bit of yearning for distant shores or houses of learning. We all can see something or someone on the horizon that we want to get to. It's a great time to ask yourself, 'why', not to be confused with 'why me. Like why go there, why learn that, the motivation exposed and understood will make the execution of it more fluid and a lot simplier.

Tuesday the Sagittarius moon is the backdrop to the annual Sun/Saturn conjunction. It only happens once a year and it's the last time it happens in Leo for 30 years as Saturn moves out next month. For those in 'Saturn Return' it's a bit of a final test. Whether you're in your first, second or third return it's a day of challenge on those issues the return has brought up the last few years. At all times you have control and can spontaneously evolve out of old patterns. For all of us it's a few days where the restraining maze of base reality is exposed. We can always be one of the mice that just floated right out of the maze, dictating to it rather then letting it dictate to you. It's like the weather report, if you knew it would rain and didn't prepare you look foolish complaining about being wet.

Wednesday we wind up this recent observing and yearning for the horizon. It's a symbolic thing, that horizon and the desire for it exists within. There can be a tinge of the harsh edge later in the day and into the night, emotional and physical roadside bombs. Pluto and Saturn both come into play and we all know how they do it. The 'surge' isn't working and couldn't work, but today could commit some of its bloodiest blunders.

Thursday we put the re- onto all and it comes up REAL, all that fiery action of the last few weeks grounds out. With the moon in Capricorn the Sun moves into Virgo. It's one of the biggest 'vibe changes' in the year. Moving from fiery and freewheeling Leo into the practical efficiency and mentality of Virgo. We are available now to make real changes in patterns, small things that lead to large affects. It's a great base to address things that seemed overwhelming recently but now you can see how the parts work, the flow of it and your position. It all makes sense, and that which doesn't isn't so disturbing as it was.

Mars is conjunct Jupiter today and added in with the Sun/Saturn dance from earlier in the week it's a burst of energy and power that can be applied for the rest of the week. We're in the transition of the seasons and it relates to simple things like the outer layers we'll need for the weather and the inner relationship we need to don to stay in tune with the cosmos. The deeper towards the cellular level we are with these changes the more an effortlessness comes into the living of our life. Like sailing any wind is good, it's where the sails are that matters.

Friday the Capricorn moon is the CEO, administrator and efficiency expert channel of our being. It's amplified with the Sun in Virgo. Mercury squares Jupiter from Virgo and the talk of expansion is in the air. So shall you speak it so shall it be done! So take care with the huge pronouncements. If you spout out to the divine that you want a bigger house you could get shrunk so your old one seems like a mansion. We're in an instant karma zone, it's a great place because if you dig deep and speak sweet there is no end to the paradise you can transform your current position into.

Saturday we drift into Aquarius and there is some precarious action with Mercury/Mars and Venus/Neptune. Hard core communication laced with passages of sexy dreams and fantasies brought to life. The Aquarius moon has our mind free and in the realms way outside the box, so far we can't even see it. The energy of the outer planet stuff is potent and after all the practicality it's going to be like emotional manna from heaven. The smart the lucky and the few will drink this up and sprout extra wings, many will be bemused, overwhelmed and blinded by their passions and obsessions though still will enjoy the party. The air of innovation and life without a blueprint is the backdrop so for the weekend check your disbelief at the door and experiment with a wider reality.

Sunday we have the same fabric being woven. This Venus Neptune opposition can pull the curtain back on what it is we love about our obsessions. It's seeing the puppet strings that are connected to the things and experiences we feel we 'must have'. The root connection of what we may call vices. Today we can see it without the judgment and understand that one person's wheat grass is another person's crack cocaine. It's not the act or substance that is the obsession, it's the power it has over us individually and collectively. All we can do is live it's that simple, each day we decide if we're a saint or a demon, for most it's a cautious blend. To delve into the arena of how we create ourselves, now that's the only true show there is.

"...the night belongs to love" Starry Eyed for Aug 13-19

full full stats and bleep click on punk Goddess Patti Smith, the 2haiku comes from waterfront park sunday august 12th, a kNEW Moon show that was sizzling.

It's scorching in Leo, did the new moon leave your fur ruffled and in need of a good licking? The week will continue to bring out the feline in all of us. Leo rules the heart, how we love, what we love, the physics of it. Love is in fact mysterious and like a force the few and the brave look at directly and attempt to surf in harmony. For those the waves are getting high, curling way offshore and the water is fine!

Monday early the Moon slips into Virgo for a little cleaning of the pockets, nooks and crannies. The energy of the new Moon on Sunday was intense and vibrant and you may want to attend to the condition of your fur and straighten out your whiskers 'cause it's just beginning.

Leo gets lit up all week and today it's Sun opposing Neptune. The pulsing fiber of your being laying exposed down to your obsessions and you're sure everyone can see it. Dreams walk among the waking and hidden motivations are on the surface. No David Lynch isn't directing your life but some of the camera angles seem that way.
Round two is Venus and Saturn on top of each other. Think and feel that for a moment... the elements of how we view and construct beauty and love entwined with the power of restriction and physical reality, all rolled together in the environment of the heart. Anyone for some core deep issue releasing heart wrenching adjustments to the way things actually are? For the rest of the week we have this; you can be who your heart desires, to reflect what's down there. Free of judgments and expectations. Some of it isn't pretty but you have to sort through it to get to the golden core in everyone. Even the most evil love something.

Tuesday the overtone of the moon in Virgo is helpful. With all the sizzle of Leo it's good to have the mental faculties whizzing along with it. The tightrope is having critical and practical thoughts about expansive and boundless topics. Groups have to be careful that meetings don't crumble under the weight of micro management played out through personal space problems. It's a good passage to just take notes and make hard definitive decisions later when folks won't feel each detail so personally.

Mercury opposes Neptune today, Leo and Aquarius, communication and deep realms of passion. Such a sweet transit for intimate relationships to be clear in just a simple glance or touch, to reset them from a transparent point all the way to the dream world. The primary relationship is always with yourself, in family/lovers/friends we often play out this dialogue externally, today it's exposed and we can tune the dial to full openness free of conditions. They say, "change yourself, change the world."

Wednesday the moon moves into diplomatic Libra in the evening. Any rough spots from the heart spouting out the mouth that left marks can be soothed today. Just honestly asking for forgiveness is a simple and powerful thing if it's real. If it comes from humility, hard in Leo I know, then all parties get to pass around the cup of forgiveness and compassion. Current research indicates that this increases serotonin so you can cut down on the psycho meds.

Every day has outer planet action this week, today it's Venus trine Pluto, fiery, and the Sun conjunct Mercury, hmmm fiery-er. On an individual level we can flood the warring and argumentative part of ourselves with a higher motive and raise our love game. With the solar influence the exchange and communication window is high and an opportunity for true feelings to be spoken and heard. Couples, families and all intimate circles can get a hard core 'awareness healing', it's possible to spontaneously elevate over previous personal/public issues to a new mind/heart existence that integrates them but is no longer bound by them. No wonder the congress of the u.s.s.a. and the parliaments of Iraq are on vacation, wouldn't want any truth to get in the way of the lie now would we.

Thursday with the moon in Libra we have the skills and environment of the problem solver, the seer of all sides and the solution that integrates them. With Mercury and Venus right on each other it's a powerful day to make a statement to the mirror of the positive desires and expectations you have for yourself. Realistic and practical ones. Being a better listener, evolving spiritually in a way that effects the simplest parts of your life, bottom line just becoming a better human being. It's lofty stuff but this is the transit for it, you will hear yourself deeply, if you don't have the time to listen to yourself who will?

We are at the end of the Libra moon transit and Mercury, Pluto, Venus and the Sun weave together. It's a bit of a volatile day even in diplomatic Libra. As we know many consider bullets a type of diplomacy and there are no greater battles then those over love. The only way that someone could blow themselves up is that they feel something they love greater then their own life is threatened. Who or what would you jump in front of the bullet for? Few ever really experience the fight or flight signal from the nervous system for real reasons. We've all seen people going off in traffic or on the phone, there is no tiger chasing them or exploding cars. Today we can check in with that instinctual part of our nervous system that jumps into out of proportion dramatic words or behavior. Bottom line if it isn't life and death don't act like it is. Don't say you're going to kill someone if you can't, words live beyond their speaking. If your system gets used to it there is no where to go from there and when things do explode and the tiger is chasing you your arteries will just pop. we all need to make room for some heavy reality that is taking place, drama over mundane will make you insane.

This is also a great day for new age dictators and demagogs to attempt to rattle the populace with fear and terror. It's up to each individual how to receive the threats of war and disaster. How we each deal with it spreads to our intimate communities and the larger group mind. They will use this tool to manipulate us until we quit responding to it, pull the curtain away exposing their violence and terror machine for what it is; generational insecurites played out globally. The ruling elite are afraid, hurt people with alot of weapons at their disposal. Whether global gangsters of corporate proportions or neighborhood thugs it only takes a few to stand up to the bully calmly to dissolve their power over us in an instant. When compassion is used to confront conflict melts under it's heat.

Saturday the moon heads into Scorpio and Mercury kisses Saturn. If you've been clear and brave this week you're in the mood for the deepest and fullest love. Scorpio gets the reputation for sex, but not just any sex it's metaphysical. So maybe you won't be dancing through Maithuna but everyone will be deep. Glances have the power of wet kisses tonight and through Sunday. So grab a sweetie or two and try evolving through that most basic path of human intimacy. Just sharing breath could bust you open.

Sunday we're still in Scorpio and can feel some of the other areas ruled by this transit; espionage and intrigue. The Sun trines Pluto and there will be some international scandals breaking. The nature of 'national intelligence' is dubious at best. Ahhh where are those WMD's were they talking about? So when the headlines brim over with accusations against character and the sabers begin to rattle it's up to us all to bring it to making sense. You can only control your reaction. This big ol' bad world isn't happening to you, YOU are happening to IT!

Barry Bond's vitamins- Tour de dope

We've always been druggies. The history of substance is a story of humanity if you look at the timeline of human intoxicant usage.
The flavor of the current outrage over doping in the Tour de France and Barry Bond's vitamins suggests that we've always been reluctant to change and one age's norm is another's work of the devil. No doubt the first runner that showed up with a sandal and a gourd for water was met with cries of unfair advantage.

It is a tug between the drive to excel and evolve and the protectionist instinct of the status quo, Back iN the Day , it meant real survival. If chewing some leaves or drinking a tea gave you a boost on the food chain we just did it.
Sports and gambling predate the written word. Like medicine and the current debate over genetics and stem cell debate there is the pull back but the gravity is to move forward. What's the difference if a CEO gets to buy and organ to live another day to plunder more riches and a guy injecting horse sperm playing a kids game for millions of dollars a year?

Yesterday's piss test is today's blood scan, the further tests are refined the further the edge goes. Let's erase that edge all together. Full disclosure! The sports world loves stats, thrives on them. So does the supposed medical research industry. Now with full disclosure it's all out in the open for them to discuss, you could merge them into fabulous real life Sci-Fi, "This tour de France features the first four legged rider, the 100meter butterfly done with genetic halibut therapy." Yes shocking but no more strange then the first guy you saw shave his body to skim seconds of his butterfly time or more close to home people being poisoned by the 'fake sugar' industry. For me these are the real doping scandals, poisoning people in secret to decrease their performance.

Maybe I do have a second tongue in cheek here. I don't really care about sports, but I would love to see the wheat grass, raw foods yogi as a batting or boxing champion. If we knew what everyone was on it would clear up a lot. If senators, doctors, much less sports hero's had a full blood chemistry declarations then we're getting somewhere.

The East German swim teams of the 80's trounced other nations and elicited cries of hormone irregularities. In the west hormones were handed out to women like candy. The swimmers could have been the hormone canary in our cancer and heart disease coal mine.

The belief that you can 'clean' up something from the outside with a system of security and testing is bad mathematics. It only and always leads to a suspicion. Like deep down we know the drive to succeed is stronger then any social morals and someone is going to figure out a way to circumvent the testing.

So maybe it will let us look at the idea of champion in a different light too. If someone is willing to trade their health and gamble against cancers and organ failure for a fleeting record, fake gold medal or moments on the podium we all get a lesson. Sure they may say, records and championships assure a mark in history. The thing about history is it includes the now and will always be updated, so when the gold medalist is a candidate for radiation and surgery then we all get a lesson without loosing and organ.

Venus and Mars

NO matter the pop sentiment we're all effected by our two closest neighbors.
Today and the rest of the week the internal relationship with the masculine and feminine
principle is highlighted. relationships can evolve under this aspect or dissolve it's up to you.
Communication should be clear and really say what you mean or say nothing at all. It's not like don't speak if you don't have anything nice to say.. More if you have something intense to communicate find a way to do it gracefully. If you are the receiver then hear it all the way out, take a breath and then respond, firing back only leads to more fire and then everyone gets burned up.

you gotta love the zeroooooooos

Starry Eyed for august 6-12

For full stats and bleep itsALLlove.com
...and the sky went black. Yes we're in that time again, the darkest of the Lunar phase. Creeping towards a new Moon in Leo on Sunday. There is a lot between Sunday and us; Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, Venus and Mercury all have major aspects this week. Secrets will be slippery and want out of the closet, old habits will make a run at you to show you what you loved about them and the deepest waters of the psyche will flow free on the surface. Kind of an apocoWeek for sure.

Monday we start with the Moon in Taurus, it gave us a comfortable but sloth-like weekend, able to sit around and appreciate our surroundings. The heavies shadow the day; Saturn trine Pluto and Mars moves into Gemini. Mmm sounds like a recipe of a war of words that escalates into a pounding by real world weapons. Saturn/Pluto will play out through the week, as they are slow moving. It's in fire signs, Leo-Sag and the sparks can escalate into a blaze easy.

On a personal level you might want to set all weapons to stun or not carry them at all. Remember thoughts and words are weapons too. With Mars in Gemini for a month words have instant presence on the physical plane. Remember just 'cause everyone laughs doesn't mean it's funny.

Jupiter turns direct after being stalled since April. So your mechanisms of expansion, whether they be organic or machine should gather speed and be working properly by the middle of the week. Projects, pieces, art or business all elements of expansion are now on GO!

Tuesday the Moon moves into Gemini and touches Mars right away, then fresh off that Mars and Venus square, the elemental masculine and feminine in a square, a harsh angle for astrology. Venus in practical Virgo and Mars is dispersed in Gemini. It's a time in relationships that you can check the moorings, make sure that all parties are on the same page so to speak. Not a great time for a fight over trivial shit, you'll end up wasting time and digging a hole. You can flip it and use all this for some vigorous cuddling and send that down into the cellular level instead.

Wednesday most of the day we are still in the babbler, the Gemini moon, so you have to realize that you're going to say more than you intended and that words have some extra oomph to them. It's also really easy to agree on something you won't feel like following through on later so take commitments and give them sparingly.

The Moon slips into Cancer in the evening and Venus continues her backward motion into Leo. The evening would be good for a bath and some quite time with the intimates as the tears and emotions are close to the surface.

Thursday the moon is still in potent Cancer and the issue machine is cranked up full blast so be careful with your own and treat others as reality.

Mercury is trine Jupiter, who is now moving forward as stated above. If you can't brainstorm some ideas about expansion of your band, dance troupe or new start-up then you don't have any storm at all. This will play out for a few days so get the band together and thrash out some new tunes or state that plan for a free energy project out there to the universe, it's listening and hasn't heard from you in awhile. It's best to pray/ritual/conjure when things are going good, you can't expect the forces that be to bail you out if you only call on them when the shit is going down. Internally we can converse with our whole being so it's a great passage to do some internal advertising that reaches way down to the depth of your cells.

Friday we're still in lunar Cancer. The moon 'rules' the sign of Cancer, not so much in a rocker stylee but that too. So when the moon is in Cancer it seems like it's all amplified, emotions, feelings and intuitions are floating on the surface and foretell lots of stuff in the depths too. So we should walk lightly and carry a soft stick. People's buttons are up and easy to push so you have to take them with the proverbial grain of salt. My granny says, "if I pushed your buttons what are they doing up?".

Saturday the moon gets with LEO!!! So all you kitties out there outa' get your shit together and play nice for the whole weekend. This is your moon when you can set the tone for the year to come, how you eat, clean and purr. Everything is a microcosm to you. For the rest of us we are honorary Felines and it's also now within orb, that is the darkest night of the month. The depths of our being come up to greet us. Great night to see ghosts from the past and future. You can't overdo the red today and let it fly. This is a great aspect for internal readjustment of your heart, what does it really crave? Not just in the simple needs category but also in the fulfillment of YOU, the complete you. Find out what it is your are here for!! If you're not doing that you're wasting the energy of the sum of existence. There's some pressure for you.

Sunday ahhhh the kNEW Moon, full moon's get the press but without the fresh new moon they would be nothing. It's another chance to hit the reset button on the issues of your life. Look them right in the eye and give them the, "I don't play 'dat". The next new moon is an eclipse so you want to really set your pattern deep and simple. All this introspection and interior alignment with purpose doesn't have to be so heavy. For many of us it just doesn't work that way. You can be more spontaneous then that, make it swirl instead of going in straight lines. A walk on the park can be as powerful a ritual as fifty people chanting in robes in a circle, and often far truer. So whatever your puja style make it ring in you, make it fun, make it sexy, but just make it. 'Cause if you don't make life it's gonna make you.
